Movie Review - Under the Tuscan Sun

Image result for under the tuscan sun

When it comes to love, women will be temporarily paralyzed whenever a man says "I love you" nahhh... it's kinda cliche, to be honest, but in this movie true love really does exists. Under the Tuscan Sun is a film that represents a woman who plays the character as a writer named Frances Mayes by Diane Lane who was looking for a man/husband right after she was divorced. It was a tough journey for her at first, as she began to look forward to her life to continue his journey as a writer she decided to get out of her house which initially she stayed together with her husband. She moved to a small apartment and began to find solace or serenity in her life. She met her friends during dinner and her friends wanted to help her by giving their "honeymoon" ticket to Tuscany, Italy. She went there and the roller coaster journey of a single/gorgeous woman begins...

Don't get your hopes up that I am going to tell you guys what happens next, that is the point of watching movies/films - meaning you guys have to watch the movie by yourselves watch the movie and feeeeellll it... the movie was shot in Tuscany, Italy. One thing that I noticed was the scenery of the film, I was amazed by the view of the forests and the mountains nor the architecture of the buildings in the movie. The angles of the camera where the scenes were shot - there were some establishing shots and leading line shots to make the subjects and the message of the film gets to the audience. Dang, the way of editing is also the main attraction of this movie - the way of color adjustments and the type of colors chosen by the editors were absolutely brilliant! kudos to the editor team... hohoho! Regardless, this nominated Golden Globe Award film does not focus on the cinematography only but the storyline of the movie also makes the movie unique... I admit there were some few hot guys and beautiful women in the film but the main concern is the storyline of the movie... :))) The way how this divorced woman was treated by a jerk (one of the Italian guys) - how she managed to get out from the misery up until, in the end, she met someone... tetttttt watch the movie yourself...

The portrayal of gender in this film is considered quite interesting because of the women in the film played a lot of roles and does not discriminate the rights of women - it does show how women were treated in love but in the end, like I said in the beginning true love does exist. I genuinely recommend you guys (whoever read my blog even though this is for academic purposes) to watch this movieeeeeee with all your heart and emotions! the upmost part is to enjoy the journey of a woman how she was treated badly in the beginning but in the end...? Thank youuuuu, adios!
